Ethics

Our raw materials are:

• GOTS certified - this means they reach the international required standard to be called “organic”
• OEKO-TEX certified - this means the cotton has been traced all the way from the source and 100% of the cotton meets the required standard
• REACH compliant - this means our cotton complies with guidelines set out to protect people and nature from chemicals used in manufacture
• Sourced in partnership with the Canopy Project. This means our use of materials is sustainable - protecting forests, natural species and the climate

As an art studio creating work that explores the societal impact of technology, it's particularly important to us to offer transparency regarding our use of technology and data in our studio and practice.

In addition to our own ethical frameworks, our studio (like all UK organisations) is bound by UK GDPR legislation.

How We Use Customer Data

- See how many people in aggregate have visited my website, and what they did on it (for example, if they made a purchase, signed up to my newsletter, or visited a certain page)
- Determine which individual collectors might find specific collecting opportunities most relevant (for example, people who visit the Original Works page may have a tag assigned that shows they are interested in hearing about available original artworks, or collectors who purchase a large t-shirt may be tagged as someone who typically wears a size large)

To offer a best-in-class experience, we:

DO

• Ensure you are in full control over your consent and data
• Use a consent management platform called Cookiebot, which offers greater control to users than standard e-commerce tools, which assume consent by default
• Block tracking scripts from triggering unless you explicitly consent
• Make it easy to refuse or even withdraw consent at a later date, with just a couple of clicks
• Execute regular cybesecurity audits to ensure that your data is stored in line with best practice security protocols
• Use digital advertising platforms to reach new potential collectors and show them artworks and items that they may be interested in
• Use digital advertising platforms to remind collectors of collecting opportunities in which they have shown an interest in the past

DON’T

• Advertise to people under the age of 18
• Buy access to 3rd party datasets
